Take a look at this item, the connectors in particular.  There seems to 
be a difference in the style of "N" connectors anymore.  What i'm 
curious about is whether they are really the type that are fully 
compatible with what we normally accept as standard type.  I know there 
are differences between the 50 and 75 ohm types but as these are on 50 
ohm cable i would expect them to be the same all the way around.  The 
ones shown here, and i suspect all the newer cellular stuff uses this 
style (not to be confused with cellular DIN types).

I guess the main question is, as long as they are "N" type connectors on 
50 ohm cable are they fully compatible with the "N" type connectors we 
see on ham or test equipment today.

I think the connectors are ok but i would rather not lay out money for 
something that is not useable. Yes, i can replace connectors on 
equipment if need be.
