Many thanks to all that responded to my questions about re-doing the DX-35.

Generally, the replies were all the same:

1. Do I want to keep it and use it?
2. Do I want to sell it?
3. Do I want to set it on a shelf and look at it?

My answer: #1 and maybe later after I have used and enjoyed it, #2.

Most of us could not afford these kits when they were new so now we have a 
opportunity to relive the past by building a "new" Heathkit radio!

In all probability I will spend more on this project than what I could sell 
it for, but I guess that is just part of the hobby of Ham Radio.
