Gene,
Rule one is you would like them at least a 1/2 wave apart at the lowest
frequency of the antenna's on top.
Rule two you would like them far enough apart so that if one falls over it
will not fall onto the other one.
Rule three if one falls over it should stay in bounds.
Rule four if one falls over it should not fall on any other structure.
>From there you just space them as best you can given your real estate and
relation with your significant other, neighbors, and insurance company.
Space them out so you can hang some HF dipoles between them.
