I'm  a little curious on that last item. I tried miners lamps but the 
acetylene gas  flame left carbon spots on the chassis, and occasionally set things on 
fire. Not  only that, but the proper grade of calcium carbide now cannot be 
shipped in  those convenient 1 quart metal cans. Something to do with new 
postal  regulations. You can, however, buy a 200 pound drum of the stuff and that's 
OK,  I don't know why.  :-)
