Please excuse me...you can take the engineer out of Sales...but its harder to 
take the "Sales" outa the engineer...which is why I've got into 
buying/selling ham gear...American doesn't make anything anymore...I'm a OEM Sales Engineer 
dinosaur...

However...being a Boatanchorite...I'm now ready to take pictures of my 
"DX-100 ala GTO" restoration ( its Fire Engine Red ) as I got a digital 
camera...1-1/2 years into it...pix on request.

And...allow me this occasion...my 1920's 204A modulated by an 849 got nice 
grades on 80 AM with 50 watts out..have it 'breadboarded' on my 6 foot drafting 
table...pix available too.

Lastly...old...I'm on the 59 yard line....
