Why, that's the famous Osmosis mod! You just hold the crystal
somewhere near the knob, then adjust tuning.

More seriously, you might have better luck on the National list as
there are a number of experts monitoring, including Carl who worked
for National, and Barry Williams of HRO fame. If they don't have the
parts, they can likely point you in the right direction.
