Hey Sandy!
Long time no type! Hope all is well with you.
Considering the way the SSB crowd treats the AM areas on 40 and 75, I
wouldn't sweat it too much. It seems like AMers are the only ones who
respect the gentleman's agreement about the AM 'windows'. One group on
75 decided to start a nightly net in an attempt to give some
legitimacy to their antics, others mention plans to load the area with
stations ever 2 kcs to 'drive off those stupid AMers'. If it's okay
for them to operate everywhere including areas normally used by AMers,
then we shouldn't feel restricted to a cage where they can poke their
slop bucket sticks at us. (o:
Hope to work you sometime in the near future. Talked with Jim W5JO in
souther OK recently, and Brian W5AMI in Arkansas. Stay tuned...
