[Boatanchors] Heathkit SB 610 CRT Tube

Back when I was a Heathkit service technician, we'd come across these CRTs
with bad connections in the tube base affecting the filament pins. Check to
see that the soldering hasn't deteriorated within the tube base itself
before your condemn the CRT.

Hi Ron,

You see these on eBay occasionally. Recent prices are in the range $20-$90.

A much better deal than either of these would probably be to pick up a
complete SB-610 (around $60-120 recently on eBay).

Are you sure that the CRT went south? I would be suspicious of the HV
components including the transformer (unless it's something obvious such as
no heater conductivity).

Hope this helps.
