Then i found in a box of tubes a brand new 913.  My RCA book says it was
discontinued in 1941 but has no reference data for it.  Wonder what it is
and what it was used for.  


913 is a crt A1-1000v, A2-500V, GRID CUTOFF-20V, DEFLECTION 200VPI.

Info from ARRL handbook 1956.


Now this is interesting - here is info from 1942 arrl hbk:

A1-100v, a2-500v, grid cut-off-90v, defkection-.1v/mm, persistence - p1,
trace is green.  Size is 1".  

Looks like a great tube for a project!
