The SX-99 file is a djvu file.  It requires a plugin for your browser or 
a separate small viewer program.  If I were you, I would download the 
excellent viewer program called WinDjView which you can download for 
free from  http://windjview.sourceforge.net 

After installing WinDjView, I would open my browser, navigate to the 
sx99 link on http://bama.sbc.edu or http//bama.edebris.com , right click 
on the link to download the file to my PC and then open it with WinDjView.
