Even so ... is the tube circuit "tamed" for RF
vs AF due to fears of oscillation?
A pair of 211's in the AF application
7.5W IN = 200W OUT is still far more efficient
than a single 211 in an RF application -- which
may be seen by extrapolating the data:
10W IN = 80W OUT (pair of tubes, 40W x 2 = 80W).
I am likely broadcasting my ignorance here but
I would still appreciate learning why the massive
difference in performance given that both are
Class B.
