[Boatanchors] Schematic or tech info

I recently acquired a general radio 1840-A output power meter but it is 
no workie!  Is there paper work around for this item or?  Nice and clean 
on the inside, not to bad really on the outside.  I've been wanting one 
of these for years and this one was very reasonable.  Hmmmmm.  I don't 
think the seller knew it was inop or he wouldn't have sold it to me. 
Just that kind of guy.  But alas, now i would like to find some sort of 
paperwork to support it.
