Greetings to All,
I posted the following to GreenKeys but maybe someone on this list might have some info.
Geetings to All,
I have aquired a Terminet 300 Teleprinter which I am interested in refurbishing/restoring if at all possible. I had one back in the early eighties when they became surplus and I'm sorry I ever let it go. So hat in hand I come to the List yet once again.
The machine was made by GE and also sold as a Datacom 300 and possibly other names as well. My unit is a 'C' version, from the mid 70's. Prints ASCII in three speeds up to 300 baud.
I am interested in finding any/all of the following--
A source of parts--circuit boards, mechanical print parts, etc. A parts machine would be considered as well.
A good manual. I have a manual for it, but it is a poor copy and not fully ledgible. Also it only covers up to the 'B' revision.
Any other info you might have especially about any other group or list that has interest in this kind of antique computer peripheral item?
Once again thanks,
Keith, ve3ts
