You can see a photo of this June 1945 Minerva Tropic Master Morale receiver
on the HCI web site in the article about the MTM. Take a look! N0ALO, Lynn
Brock, the Master, did the absolutely authentic paint work. The silk screen
work is new, as is the absolutely exact decal in the lower left corner of
the drop down front door.

This is the military version of the W-117 which uses a pair of 50L6 for
push/pull audio.

It is totally restored electrically by KO6BB, Phil Atchley. If you know
Phil, then you also know his work is second to none!

This radio was purchased in Hawaii and I got it from the owner's niece after
his death. He was the "only" owner.

It has the original schematic! It also has the only known to exist original
fact sheet! This sheet is the one I used to prove that the MTM was
positively a WW2 morale receiver. You can read the exact quotation on the
HCI web site in the article about the MTM.

There are four non-conductive spacers that hold the chassis away from the
steel cabinet. I had four new ones made by a tool and die shop. There is no
power transformer, the set is either AC or DC. If the hot chassis touches
the metal cabinet, ZAP! The new spacers prevent this.

There is one modification. Phil replaced the power cord with a grounded
three wire cord for electrical safety reasons.

This piece of WW2 history is rare and totally unique. I want my fellow Hams
and radio hobbyists to have the first opportunity to buy her. I will 'not'
sell her for less than $500. If you are interested contact me direct.

I also have a totally electrically restored civilian model using a pair of
25L6 audio output tubes. It is all original paint, silk screen lettering and
decal. On a scale of ten, an 8. It is not for sale now, but will be after
the military version finds a new home.

Thank you.
