I guess your right. I did miss that post by John
Brewer K5MO about three weeks ago. Thanks for the
information.

Unfortunately, I am not able to get on HF in my
current location (landlord/tenant situation in a
mobile home). However, that should be changing later
this year. I will keep that net in mind then.

Yes and then there is hybrid vintage boatanchors.
Solid state receivers and a vacuum tube transmitter in
a transceiver form. I am sure you know of many.
