It has to have some place where you can tie a rope or attach a chain.  If
you drop it on the ground, there has to be some glass to break.

One day, I suppose, when what we call "radios" today, come in one small 5
pin chip (antenna, speaker, serial "thought-control interface", power and
ground) and use hyper-space tachyon tunnels rather than antennas, perhaps
even a 775 will fit the bill.

But I suspect it and most of its contemporaries will end up just being
called "great-grandpa's old junk".  Doesn't power up no matter what :-)
