What you have there is a type 851.
Large triode rated at 2500 volts at 900 ma. on plate in CW telegraph ratings.
Plate dissapation = 750 watts.
>From the data, I'd say it was a late 1920's jug.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Tube data VT-41 (CG-851)???
| Hello''Boatanchores]
|
| I ended up with two ''humoungus'' tubes from the 40's or so ,which I want to
| use as display along with my other ''boatanchors''
| they are Triodes, approx 18 inches tall and 6'' diameter, the anodes are about
| twice the sizee of the old 833's.
|
| They are made by GE and marked VT-41 CG-851 and have a US Navy stamp on
| it.---Does anyone have data on those monsters ??---I have not been able to
| find anything meaninngful on the Internet.---Any of the old Navy folks
| remember where they were used.???
