[Boatanchors] 3-Wire cords on Boatanchors

I am sure that this subject has been hashed over many times before, but I 
would appreciate the groups' thoughts on this subject.
Some of my BA gear does not have a regular ground post on the chassis and I 
wonder if, by adding the 3-wire core, would eliminate the need to ground 
each chassis?
