I don't normally announce the availability of manuals that have been
added to the BAMA collection. However, thanks to Ron Brown, GW6WRP,
I've recently received a fascinating bit of documentation, rarely seen
in the US, on the military versions of the National HRO as used in the
British Army. Here is how Ron described it, "...a copy...of the
British Army manual (EMER - Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
Regulations) covering the HRO, known as the R106. This has a lot of
detailed information about the HRO not published in any US
documentation. The HRO was extensively used for enemy monitoring and for
direction finding. Note the date of the EMER - 1954."

I don't subscribe to the National reflector. If someone would be so
kind as to copy this there, I would greatly appreciate it.
