Pete while on the subject of hamfests, the Oklahoma City Hamfest is July 14 
and 15.  It is pretty much an indoor event staged at the state fairgrounds 
in air conditioned comfort.  The fairgrounds is just off I-40 west of 
downtown OKC.  There are lots of motels and dining facilities within about a 
mile of the site.  Should someone arrive about noon Friday, the staff allows 
you to drive into the facility for unloading.  On Sunday you can drive back 
in to load, if needed

Normally there is fair attendance with 2-300 people signing to attend. 
There is also a fair smattering of boatanchors including test equipment and 
other offerings.

I am using your message to inform all of the event and to invite you 
personally.  Several old radio aficionados will be there.  We try to have 
lunch on Saturday about noon.
