Hello Paul,
I personally know nothing about this station since I grew up in St. Louis
Missouri.
I now reside in Tacoma, Washington where the Air Force last dropped me off
in Jan of 73.
I would recommend that you find a radio club near by and see if they have a
library of QST
Amateur Radio magazines from that era. Also, you might inquire at your
Public Library and see if they have a QUICK INFORMATION help desk. Our
Library in Tacoma has one and they are very helpul in assisting by doing the
research leg work and providing you their findings. The FCC may also be a
resource. Sometimes City Hall may also be able to give you direction or
info. GOOD LUCK. Please do post your findings to this reflector as I know
many are interested in history of SW Radio Stations. Lastly, some of the ole
timer serious SHORTWAVE LISTENERSN (SWL'ers) might have some good insight.
73,
Glen Galati, KA7BOJ
Tacoma, WA
