Please join us on Sunday January 29th for the Hallicrafters Collectors
International 20 meter Net. We actually had some useable propagation for the
forty meter Net on Saturday. Scary thought! I was actually able to talk with
stations in adjacent states without having to do a Minnesota Fats banked
shot off the third largest asteroid named Vesta in the astronomically huge
asteroid parking lot between Jupiter and Mars. Then just graze the upper
atmosphere of the mysterious moon of Jupiter named Europa and use the
slingshot effect produced by the larger than zits on a Brontosaur's brow
gravitational effect to deflect the signal off the Saturnian intergalactic
resort on the moon Titan, then after trying the rings of Uranus on for size,
being fired like grains of puffed wheat out of that gigantic space cannon
back at the Earth with a velocity one tenth that of home canned sauerkraut
being chased through your intestinal tract by a Dragon shaped Chinese
fortune cookie having a bad case of char broiled Halitosis, with a
misspelled message inside saying, "Yew will half a moving experience today,
jest EXLAX!"
The pre-Net at 12:45 PM EST, (1745 UTC). Net proper at 1:15 PM EST, (1815
UTC).
The frequency is 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the
super sonic Mach 34 bullet proof glass shattering, concrete busting and ATM
money vault lock rupturing extra ultrasonic sound of that sauerkraut making
the last tight turn in the upper right colon and rushing like a Super Bowl
crowd during the 20 minute food and bathroom break straight for the "EXIT"
sign, in this case the checkered Fruit Of The Loom victory flag!
So join us for some fantastic fellowship, a chance to buy what is left of my
Ham station, the answer to who's picture is on the $100,000 bill (KD9MF got
it right!), technical help for those with wandering wires and tempermental
tubes, a wonderful opportunity to show off your hot Halli fresh from the
bench of healing and a whole lot more! Be There! Be counted! Be ready to
assume the hot spot my rump has worn in the NCS chair when I retire soon!
Hint!
Remember, the HHRP two CD set starts shipping on January 30th. Expect an
e-mail notification on the day yours gets tossed into the bowels of the
postal service parcel pigeon. Hear ya later today!
