appears OK.

On two of these radios, the high band is good high to
low.  If there 
was IF
problems it would show up on all bands and most
probably be worse on 
the
high band.  The problem is band three.

Further the oscillator level is measured before the
converter and thus 
the
IF.

My apologies as I misunderstood the problem as general
when it was only band three.

Perhaps some electronic component like a resistor,
capacitor, etc. (if there is one, not burnt out or it
would be obvious) has changed value and is out of
tolerance?
