Gerry-

Besides the usual checks one might do, I would
recommend doing an I.F. alignment. Since the frequency
readout on the dial seems to be accurate, an R.F.
alignment is probably unnecessary. Having a radio not
properly I.F. aligned will definitely effect RF
sensitivity favoring one portion of the band or
another.

Go ahead and try it and report back.
