I got K5MYJ in 19557. Both K5MYJ and KN5MYJ. When I moved to Califonia in
1959 I got WA6KMN. I checked seveal call books between 1960 and 1980 and
K5MYJ was never reissued.

I asked the FCC for a copy of my otriginal ticket and was told it was in
COLD STORAGE. It would take 3 months to find it if I really had to have it.
In 2002 they gave me my orignial call without any argument.

My fist sends "K5MYJ" without any concious thought. It just happens.

Bob Macklin
