Gene,
In the power size you are looking for, A 70 volt speaker transformer will
work.
These critters come in several power (watts) rating sizes from 5 watts (radio
shack stock) to large 25 or more watt sizes. One side have several taps for
like 2, 4, 8, 16 ohm speakers and the other side will have two or three taps
(on the good ones). The transformer is an audio transformer so you get good
audio response. Between the tap points you get a lot of selections and can find a
match. For real wide matches, you can wire two transformers in series to do a
double transform.
The insulation in the transformers will take at least 400 volts. The windings
have a large enough wire to handle some DC current and not be overly lossy.
The stock transformers have such a range of match points they sort of have
become a general replacement part for a whole class of audio interstage
transformers as well as matching to speakers.
