The radios that I have the strongest relationships with are more
of a "love-hate" thing. Many swear words have been uttered over
the past couple decades as plate chokes catch on fire, capacitors
blow up, selenium rectifiers emit their very stinky smoke, etc. Restoration
is partly a loving process but also a vengeful process :-).

In any event I suspect my questions are way too basic for that
list, and there are a couple of very good web sites that discuss
the basics of the WJ models (although not at quite the tech level that I'm
wanting to see - I want to know if I can maintain it over the next
couple of decades.)

Realistically the answer probably is that I'm not the ideal owner
of a 70's era WJ receiver, and that my current boatanchors deserve
my attention more :-).
