Hevens Yes!!! In the Stoner Sideband Book he has info on a Q5er using the
BC453 with a product detector and converters in front of the BC453. There
was a article in mid 1950's in CQ mag that was the basis for his receiver. I
have 2 here that will be completed in a couple months, I hope, duplicating
these receivers-one per the articles and the other using a mobile converter
in front of the BC453 for general listening.
