I have used about any an all cleaners over the years. 
The old Blue Foam stuff was some of the worse stuff
because it caused the contact to get sticky and then
attract more dirt.

RShack is really pretty good general stuff and D-Oxit
is a very fine
product. 

But I wonder if we could not do something similar. 
Take a little bit of Goof Off (Cig lighter fluid) and
some transmission oil, I bet it would work pretty well
too.  And the price is nothing.

I will try it out on my latest rebuild project when I
get home from Dallas and let you guys know.
