[Boatanchors] How much does Henry weigh?

OK, you Boatanchorites - I need your expertise.

I have this 15 Henry choke.
I can't read its current rating...as I wore it off in the 'cleaning'.
I can clearly see a "5" and there is another partial number in front of it 
that might be a 2.
Might it be a 0.25 amp rating?

Dimensions are nominally 6 high x 5 x 4 inches.
It weighs 18 pounds ( on the XYL's scale I should mention ).

What's your estimate of Henries?

And, while we're at it - it is my understanding that a transformer can be 
used as a choke at times in certain conditions - please advise.
