[Boatanchors] JPEG

Hi Ron

One way is by pulling it into some sort of graphics program -- one you probably already have -- like a photo editing program or similar that came with a digital camera or some simple free software.

However, you can also do this with Microsoft Word or almost any word processing program you have. Just copy and paste into a blank document page, then use the mouse to resize it to fit the page.

You can also right click on the photo do a "save picture as" into a folder where you can find it, then bring up Word, new blank document and then do an "insert", "picture", "from file" ... and point to the file where you saved it.

You can also use Excel, Powerpoint, Wordperfect, or whatever -- you don't need a complicated graphics program, just something you can drop it into to get some sizing control. Sometimes it's easier with one of those than a photo editing program which has more bells and whistles than you need.

Hope this helps
Barry

You will have to excuse this OT's ignorance (I went to College with a slide

I want to download a JPEG concerning some Gilfer Mods for my FRG-7 Receiver.

Is there any way to 'shrink' the JPEG so I can print it? It's almost as
though someone took a zoomed picture and posted it. My girlfriend and I have
tried everything we can think of and it still comes out waaaay too large. I only
get about 1/4 of what I need.....

thanks!
