Methinks he was just not thinking of the proper
abbreviations which, of course, should be MHz for
"Megahertz".  This is just like people who use DB
instead of dB for "decibel".  A DB is 100 times a dB.

m = milli = 1/1000

M = Mega = 1,000,000

d = deci = 1/10

D = Deca = 10
