<RS has become mostly an historical footnote anyway, and isn't much more than
just another cell phone kiosk that also sells batteries .. Oh, and R/C cars
at Christmas.>


At least they still carry a few parts that can be useful for ham radio work.  I was surprised to find #47 bulbs at RS to replace the burned-out dial lights in my Heathkit Apache.  You'll probably have better luck finding the stuff yourself than to rely on a sales clerk.
