I seem to recall something similar happening recently north of the
border, just not a privately held company. It happens, when needed.

Speaking of parts, I bought some of those 3AG glass fuses at the local
RatShack a while back for a Hammarlund receiver. More expensive than I
would have liked, but less than I expected. Was surprised at something
else I found there (just can't remember what), but overall the
selection of parts reflects today's "plug-n-play, then throw away"
mentality.

If you really want to make 'em scratch their noggins, ask for the old
screw-in type fuses. Bring along an example for best results.
