[Boatanchors] HRO-W

I found on my doorstep the HRO-W and it has a noise limiter using the 
6SJ7 and mounted in the spot next to the ant terminals.
The previous owner said that he installed it there and was a copy 
of the HQ-129. That seems in error. Has anyone done this mod with
this type of pentode? I was told that it really works good.
The workmanship is excellent, even the National ceramic socket!
