[Boatanchors] Johnson 6N2 Transmitter

Gents:

Conventional wisdom is that EFJ designed the 6N2 as a companion to the Ranger. I know of no other EFJ product specifically designed to provide both power and modulation to the 6N2.

But, back in the heady days of the Nuvistor, a friend built a homebrew PS for his 6N2 and supplied the audio with a kit-built Eico plate modulator. Nice (if somewhat haphazard) rig.
