ut some on this reflector show have recommendations.

  I've used up all my cable ties with labels...they're standard  cable
ties
  but have a little tab on them on which you can write a word or two
  identifying what the cable tie is attached to.

  Have browsed my normal catalog sources and can't find these anywhere.

  Anyone know where I could buy these in bulk at a decent price?

I can't help directly, but I found a really good way of marking cables a
few years ago.

I type the text on white Tyvek (It's available free at USPS post offices
as Priority bags.) Then cut out a small rectangle and wrap it around the
cable and slip a piece of clear HS tubing over it. Some gentle heat and
voila...  perfect labels.
