Hello,

I just started working on a 32V-1. It has been modified and I'm going to
return it to as close to original as I can. I have a couple of questions
that hopefully someone can help me with.

The Major mod that was done was to move the "Coarse Antenna Loading"
rotary switch S402 to the deck in front of L401 the large coil with the
ceramic form. The shaft from the switch was extended through the front
panel using 3 "U" joints because of the extreme angle. I'm going to fill
in the drilled hole and re-position the switch where it belongs on the
output network by the side of L401.

What I was really wondering is someone who owns a 32V-1 could send me a
couple of close up pictures of the area in question. The pictures can be
taken with the rig in the case, by opening up the lid. It looks like
C401 was put (using epoxy) was put on top of L403 and L404 is not to
be found. With a few close up pics, I think I could straighten up this mod.

Also, does anyone know where suitable replacement caps can be found for
the high voltage antenna coupling section such as C401, C406, C407 etc.
. They are rectangular around 1 1/4 by 1 1/8 about 1/4 inch thick, rated
at 2500 Volts.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Best,
DW Holtman
