Been too long and no longer have my 500 manual, but the values were 
"light."  (narrow or "tight shorts" audio)  :-)

I removed them and substituted individual parts;  the same value 
resistive plate loads but increased the coupling cap values to .005 
or as much as .01 mfd.  Result, more bass and more gain.  Also 
increased the input grid resistor to 5 meg or so for better results 
with D-104 mike.
