I just got back from this morning's hamfest in Oakland, N.J. It was small but
very good. The club that runs it always does an excellent job.

Among the items spotted: a National NC-240D for $325, an R-390 (nonA) for $575
(sold by a guy who keeps all in equipment in tip-top shape), a BC-312 (problems
in the first RF box), a BC-348-J (no power supply and on dynamotor), an SX-99
for $40 and a National NC-98 for $50. THere was the usual array of parts,
manuals, tubes and newer equipment. Not bad for about 20 vendors.

I picked up an AN/GRR-5, so I considered the trip to be well worth it.
