[Boatanchors] Old Callbook Conniving

Anyone remember this one, from the late 60's/early 1970s?  

You'd get a personal letter addressed by hand to you and your call.  

Of course you'd open it.  

It contained a letter from an enterprising ham mentioning the fact your 
name and call had been printed in a national amateur radio publication.  

For $1, he'd clip it and send it to you.  

That was a great big ego thing in those days. Many, including me, fell 
for it. 

What you got in return was your callbook info cut out and taped to a post 
card!  

Think mine is still around somewhere.  

Anyone remember that one?
