Ed -

Going from memory, which is not always reliable these days!

The "Callbook" came out quarterly in the full-size "phone book" version
in the 20's through 1971 or so. Each book was a complete listing of US
and Canadian licensees, and through the 50's at least included "DX"
listings too. Starting in the early 60's the "DX" listings got their
own book. I think it was 1971 when they changed to a single book with
quarterly "updates" including only the "new" listings. Actually I think
the update books were cumulative each year, so at the end of the year
everything was included in the big book and the last update book. I
think the final issue was in 1997.
