Hi,
There are several ways to do this but the safest way for the receivers,
assuming they both have the same output impedance as does the speaker you plan to
use, is to use a 4PDT switch which will switch a resistor of the proper value
and a power rating of at least 3 watts, 5 to be safe, across the output of the
unused receiver. If you forget to turn it off or turn the volume to zero when
you switch speakers, you run the chance of blowing the output transformer
which could cause additional damage to the unloaded receiver. You can find push
button switches with plenty of contacts for this type or arrangement, or Check
Niles Audio to see if their switch boxes have built in loads.
