I'm sure everyone has their favorite glue. Not exactly sure what part you are talking about but 
I'd suggest trying JB Weld if you need a glue that can also act as a structural component. It's 
available in a regular and Kwik cure version. The "Kwik" cure is quick - within 4 minutes. It is 
a 2 part epoxy glue. Once cured, it can be ground of filed. You can find it at any hardware 
store. Don't know about the ceramic. If is is not clean or very glossy, it might be a good idea 
to abrade it a little bit with some 400 or 600 carborundum paper.
