[Boatanchors] Need glue recommendation for ceramic switch

Hello,

I am trying to repair a ceramic switch.  The metal contact piece that goes 
on the
inner rotating "circle" needs to be glued in place.  I have tried two 
different common
household epoxies and a household cement (Duco, I think) with no luck.  The
piece seems to be stuck down but then it does not take much to make it come
off again.  I've tried cleaning the ceramic with solvent but that does not 
seem to
help.  Does anyone have a glue that they can recommend....or possible a 
solvent
or etcher that will clean the ceramic.
