Don't overlook music stores.  They have all kinds of audio connectors, 
cables, mixers, equalizers and other audio goodies. Most places are quite 
reasonable.  Alsom chck the web for music stores that have snail mail catalongs. After 
you get past the drums and cymbals, there is a ton of neat audio gear to browse 
through. Almost as good a having an old Allied catalog!
