You know, virtually everything I've ever shipped, and that's quite a bit and
includes a good bit of heavy iron, has been shipped by UPS and arrived at
it's destination in exactly the same condition it left my hands. I can't
say that everything I've received from UPS has been damage free, but then
what do expect when the shipper dumps a 90 pound radio in a single wall
cardboard box with nothing but plastic peanuts and some broken up pieces of
styrofoam that came with the guys TV set?
Perhaps it has more to do with the "idiots for the most part" that pack the
box than it does with the uneducated, illiterate, and unwashed "idiots for
the most part" that drive the trucks? I'd be happy to put money on that :-)
To say nothing of the fact that the denigrating comments regarding the
employees of UPS undoubtedly relate to a friend or relative of some list
member somewhere, if not a list member directly. Can you smell a UPS
employee when you pass one on the street?
