Hi folks,
    I think what we're not saying is that Helium has the smallest atoms,
and thus can escape thru "solid" glass (silicon dioxide) which is composed
of larger atoms/molecules which have spaces between them.  (I had to take
chemistry twice to get thru, but do remember a little.)
