Yup,

One good rain storm last week in Michigan and my Sister is out one dead modem 
in one box and the power supply in the other box. Two dead machines and my 
day wasted doing repairs.

The things I have reverse engineered in the last 20 years just to get a bit 
more life out of them is countless. The DX100 and R390 have been repaired many 
times but not reverse engineered because I cannot find an original part.

The vacuum tubes survived just fine.
