Mr. Phil,
You might try posting this on the specific list for such issues, namely the
"test-equipment at mailman.qth.net" list. There are quite a few very knowable test
equipment specialists that hang out there and I am sure if the answer exists,
one of these guys knows it Phil.
There is nothing wrong with asking what you did here, but that list specializes
in test gear, and your chance for success is far higher there. Good luck!

Hello,
Today I received a nice little gift in the mail, a Telequipment S51B
scope. This is apparently about Circa 1965 and has about 7 "Hollow
State" devices and is made by the UK subsidiary of Tektronics. But even
so, it is a very compact package compared to Heathkit, Knight, RCA
scopes etc of the that era. It came out of a Educational facility and I
need to put a new power cord on it before (gingerly) bringing it up on
the variac.
I DID manage to find and download a basic manual and schematics on the
unit. Said manual has NO specifications, but since the highest sweep
speed is 1uS, and it has Banana Jacks rather than a BNC connector, I
suspect the highest frequency limit is probably somewhere between
5-10MCs. Useful for Audio and low frequency RF stuff.
Anybody here have further info on this unit?
